What makes it special?

New Zealand’s most stunning accommodations tend to be luxury lodges in remote locations, but The Penthouse at Eichardt’s Private Hotel, bucks that trend with a stunning lakefront suite in the heart of Queenstown. The Nina Bell-designed Penthouse has two striking features: the view, and its expansive outdoor terrace, reportedly the largest in Queenstown.

The unobstructed 180-degree-view of Lake Wakatipu and the mountains are framed perfectly by the terrace which features an outdoor kitchen including a BBQ, a hot tub and sauna and is serviced by a private entrance and a dedicated butler.

Although not exclusive to The Penthouse, the iconic hotel also recently added Pacific Jemm to further reinstate its position as Queenstown’s most exclusive hotel. Pacific Jemm is an 80-foot Falcon-S, the only premium cruiser in Queenstown and Glenorchy, is available for hourly charter, and can also accommodate guests overnight in its 4 cabins.
